Frequently Asked Questions?

Q:  What is maximum comfortable capacity of The Creativity Cottage?
A:  Up to 75 is recommended for social gatherings if primarily using the outside space.   For business, we recommend a maximum of 30-35 if using both the inside and outside.

Q:  Can you hold dates prior to receiving the contract and deposit?  A:  Due to the uniqueness and demand for the space we do not typically.

Q:  What methods of payment are acceptable?
A:  We accept Cash, Check, Visa MasterCard, American Express, Discover

Q:  What happens if I have to cancel?
A: Due to the uniqueness and high demand of our cottage, we require the following cancellation payments: within 7 days – 50% of rental fee, within 48 hours – 100% of rental fee.  If you cancel prior to to 14 calendar days of the event date, the deposit may be applied to a future booking within 6 months.

Q:  Are there additional hidden fees?
A: No. If there are special or additional requests these will be agreed to upfront.

Q: Can you make copies or print for us?
A:  Yes.  This service is only for business rentals. Just request upon booking and we will help to coordinate. Up to 50 BW prints and 25BW copies are free of charge. If the volume exceeds 25 BW copies or/or 50 BW Prints an additional charge will be added on demand ce.  BW at .10 per. Color at .50 per. This based on an honor system. We currently do not offer color copying  on-site.

Q: Can there be more than one meeting or event happening at the same time?
A: No. During your time you will have exclusive use of The Creativity Cottage Space.

Q:  What is included in my per-person meeting rate?
A:  The per- person rate includes access and use of The Creativity Cottage, amenities, available supplies, and complimentary beverages.  See Space section for more details.

Q:  Can I set up for my meeting/event the day before?
A:  Typically we like for all set up and take down to occur on the same day. However we can make arrangements as needed. An additional $115/hour will be assessed.

Q:  What if my meeting goes over the 9 hour (full day) or 4-1/2 hour (half day) limit?
A:  You will be assessed either $115/additional hour up until 10pm. $150/additional hour will be assessed after 10pm until midnight.

Q:  May I bring my own food and non-alcoholic beverages?
A: Yes

Q:  May I bring alcoholic beverages?
A: TBD

Q:  May I smoke at the cottage?
A: The Creativity Cottage is a smoke-free environment. No smoking is permitted within the inside or outside rental space.

Q:  May I bring a pet to the cottage?
A: Unfortunately we do not allow pets.

Q:  When do evening hours have to end?
A: 12 Midnight.

Q:  Any decorating or set up restrictions?
A: Before you decorate please reach out to us to discuss beforehand.

Some restrictions:

We do not allow confetti or rice as a decoration or to be used at wedding events.

No tables or chairs to be set up on putting green.
